When it comes to flavor and freshness, we like to think we’ve cornered the sub market. Each of our franchisees is committed to using the freshest, highest-quality ingredients in every sandwich and meal we serve. From fresh-baked bread to sliced-to-order meats and cheeses, the ingredients we use are what we’d serve our own families.
We also stress the importance of the local community to our franchisees; partnering with schools and other local organizations to host events like fundraiser nights and help feed students and staff! Additionally, through the Goodcents Foundation, we provide support to local charities. On April 5th, the Goodcents Foundation announced the Pay It Forward program. This program gives guests the ability to purchase extra pounds of meat and cheese at checkout to then be delivered to local charities. For more information on the Goodcents Foundation click here.

Meet Our Founder
a Born Entrepreneur
Joe Bisogno is the founder of Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs. He got his start in the food industry early: at the age of six, with his first lemonade stand. Then he moved on to owning an ice cream truck. At 22, he bought a gas station and used car lot.
But he kept being pulled back to the restaurant industry. Rather than open a restaurant with his background, he spent 10 years working with the McDonald’s Corporation as an instructor of the franchise program to learn the ropes from a leader in the space.
In 1989, he left McDonald’s to open Mr. Goodcents Subs & Pastas in Lenexa, Kansas. Today, there are more than 70 franchised locations across the country.
Now known as Goodcents®, our brand offers dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, and delivery of Goodcents to Go meals plus our sandwiches, ranging from traditional turkey, ham and cheese or meatball, to specialties like the Penny Club®, which features turkey, ham, and roast beef.
